They're really warning me
I won't give in to the storm

The lantern in my hand, the fire in my soul
Will save me from the darkness
Won't let me slip and fall
The lantern in my heart will be my only guide

And lead me through the night

Reckless step there is no light
All right, I lost my only friend
Hopeless now, I look around
And I know I'm doomed, but I'll just pretend
